Based on the T-65 model, this model gives you a fantastically authentic look and style of aircraft that should really help you see why everyone loves this aircraft so much. The model uses a Mach 1.8 Vmax system meaning that it comes with a really consistent level of performance. It can handle altitude performance without any issues (it’s a spaceship, after all!) and it can also provide you with unbelievable G tolerance and manoeuvrability in even the most awkward of conditions. If you have ever wondered what a modern day take on the X-Wing would feel like then this might be the place to start with. The animations was something that jumped out at me right away – from the animated R2 bot at the back of the X-Wing to the awesome animated S-Foils that tie up to the spoilers, you have everything you’d need. The spoilers have no drag either, meaning that I could easily use them in multiplayer without making myself or anyone else be put off by their usage.

Obviously, being a fantasy model, it’s hard for me to say if the flight dynamics are right or anything else – what I can say, though, is that if I was to fly an X-Wing I would predict it would feel like this. It’s a great system that feels like a lot of fun to mess around with, but it also gives plenty of control to take on serious flights with. It even comes with its own virtual cockpit which looks absolutely splendid, giving you a full recreation of the real thing. The custom sounds it makes also tend to be concurrent with the real thing – now, your aircraft sounds like it’s going to be using the real sounds of an X-Wing.

For fans of the series and “authenticity” this should make a major difference to the enjoyment that you get from the overall flight style that you undertake. Although this was built for FS2004, it seems to run like a dream when tested by FSX Acceleration and has no real performance glitches and issues. An excellent rendition of one of the most famous aircraft ever built in sci-fi its well worth having installed on your machine! I’m just waiting to get an attempt at other Star Wars aircraft before we can all finally have that big battle in the middle of the skies we’ve all dreamt of having! It’s really a great take on such a fabulous piece of sci-fi history. About Adam McEnroe Adam McEnroe is a flight sim enthusiast who has been simming since the days of FS95. Iago Cao Sun, 27 Dec 2015 21:22:19 GMT How can I open the wings? Cloudbuilder Thu, 29 Oct 2015 19:39:30 GMT Nice machine, you can fly it just by the joystick. Hoovering above the ground and then landing. Speed does not exeed above 1000 kmh but that is enough to make a sneeky approach on a boeing. Works without any troubles (Win 7 - Nvidia 970 with LG ultrawide and 16GB. Thanks for the nice job! Excellent job! The cockpit, for example, was a surprise. I really like it!! Reach 87.700 m. In less than 5 minutes. Very maneuverable. Also, sound of the R2 unit is absolutely awesome!

Very maneuverable. Flyboy388 Wed, 31 Aug 2011 23:30:39 GMT All mine did was spiral out of control before I even got off the runway. Nothing I did stopped the relentless spiral. Blaupunkt Radio Code Keygen For Mac.

Phantomfire1 Thu, 30 Dec 2010 13:23:24 GMT What a blast. Use your flaps to control forward movement and hover. Lights look really cool, but I could not get any afterburner other than a little glow out the tailpipes.

Sounds good on my system with a woofer, and visually striking with 3 24' screens to spread it out on. Did some carrier landings with it and now intend to use the Battlestar Gallatica.

Can't get that one to work yet. But am excited to do so. The Millenium Falcon is next!!!!!!! Get this one, very nice job. Jetranger04 Sat, 03 Apr 2010 00:49:58 GMT Didn't work for me. Trojanoid Sat, 30 Jan 2010 22:57:50 GMT Great Job!

Everything works, and it's extremetly maneuverable. Working afterburner with lights.
