Crushed Ice Mode is even worse. It spits out more ice on the floor than in your glass. The water Mode shoots water out like a fire hose, splashing your stainless finish with water which makes for continuous clean up. Over all, I love the middle drawer refrigerator and the French doors. We replaced it with this fridge, style is nice, look really nice. Downside now is the motor is loud, i can hear the motor running in the middle of the night. Now, a few weeks later the Ice Maker is making this super loud noise. Called costumer service, their telling me that this is normal. Just really shocked when she said that.

Samsung refuses to admit that this is 'unrepairable'. The repairs are taking care of the problem, but not fixing what is causing the problem.

So, the exact same repair keeps being done and still hasn't been permanently 'fixed'. Second thing that is tough, it scratches VERY easy. Do NOT put any magnets on it. We don't, but one of our children happened to have one and moved it an inch, big scratch.

The Good - Temperature is solid in all areas of the main areas. The middle drawer is Awesome and is used the most in our family. The freezer is larger than I anticipated, but you have to be creative with how you stock it.. Sadly, dealing with Samsung Customer Service is like getting punched in the throat. They are literally 'useless'. They go through their script and when finished, the end result is the same.'

We will have to send a tech out'. This Samsung Refrigerator replaced a High End LG that lasted me 6 years. I choose this refrigerator because its design layout and I just couldnt spend this kind of money on another LG. This Samsung is 3cu smaller than my previous frige, but because of the flex drawer I actually am able to fit more stuff and better organized. I love the Food Showcase door for the most used items. Extremely quiet, I actually have to stand next to it to check if it is running! Makes ice in large amounts pretty quick, much faster than my old frige. Family of 4 and we all love it.

I am not crazy about the size of the ice maker and the space it takes, but I can definitely live with it. I also like the location of the water filter and the easiness of replacing it. Even though I love this frige I had to give it a 4 out of 5 for value. I spent over $3000 with tax and extended service plan, in my book thats a good down deposit on a car. I am hoping that this refrigerator will last a very long time.
